Besides her life-long passion for real estate, Ms. Stanford is an organization and administrative wizard. Her various occupations in sales, administration, and management has been as much a hobby than a career. When not providing the administrative glue for the firm, she enjoys cooking, wine tasting, travelling and vacationing to places with “palm trees,” and her family.

Even though she graduated with a degree in computer programming form a college located in Silicon Valley, she is still a bit old fashioned, preferring calendars, rolodexes, and memo pads, to mobile technology. However, she finally accepted in early 2013 as a gift from the firm, her first “smart phone.”

In 2004 he was promoted to the newly created position of Chief Information Officer (CIO), and in 2006 he also assumed the vacant role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Since that time he has held both CFO and CIO positions and has been a member of the firm’s leadership team. Mr. Brown’s background is in accounting and computers. Prior to joining the firm in 2001, he was the Controller of a building materials supplier and manufacturing company as well as CFO of an Northwest regional conglomerate of other companies owned by the same holding company as the materials supplier.

Besides his external financial reporting and auditing responsibilities, he heads the team that customizes the firm’s innovative and proprietary management accounting system for each restructuring client, and oversees all technical and information support activities of the firm. He is responsible in providing the professionals of the firm with all financial modeling and spreadsheet applications as well as all complex financial analysis and reports needed to support client services. His duel expertise as an experienced and creative management accountant and information systems genius has become legendary with clients over the years.

As a key member of the firm’s leadership team, a few of Mr. Brown outside hobbies actually compliment some of his day-to-day work activities. He is a self-proclaimed “computer geek,” probably spending more time on a computer than most nine-to-five computer and software support technicians. And if he does not know anything about a new and emerging information or communication system or product or application, he will find out all about it, and in short order. He also spends his free time dealing with his personal investments, which since 2008 have been largely concentrated in residential and commercial real estate. A virtual walking library of current real estate investment and finance knowledge, his expertise is often called upon when the firm is assisting clients in real estate financing and/or investment matters.

His other outside activities have nothing to do with the firm, such as his obsession with Asian food and his long-running interest and expertise in martial arts; he is currently working on his Brown Belt. Still somewhat of an introvert his social skills have improved vastly over the years. Many of us will never forget ago when he ordered two child’s spaghetti dinners at a company party, because the menu was written in Italian, that is except for the children’s menu.

Head of External Affairs and Media

The newest member of the CSC Capital’s leadership, Ms. Gomez joined the firm in 2009 as a part-time Client Origination Specialist. After three years of direct marketing the firm’s services via the phone and internet, she was appointed Head of External Affairs and Media in 2013; previously the duties and responsibilities of this new position were outsourced to a public relations firm. Announcing the promotion, the firm’s CEO stated, “The ability to understand each prospect client’s wants and needs, day-by-day, is the perfect training program and foundation for expanding this critical knowledge to a much wider audience. Ms. Gomez has proved herself very capable in both her work ethic and scholastic accomplishments over the last few years to take on this new challenging enterprise.” And indeed she has; besides being a natural at direct marketing for the firm she also graduated with honors from Oregon State University (OSU) in 2013 majoring in New Media Communications, producing and/or participating in several televised sports and other media events.

Ms. Gomez will be responsible for expanding the firm’s traditional public relations and advertising campaign while developing a new internet external relations and media presence. As one of the few colleges in the country with a major in “New Media,” OSU’s unique curriculum has given Ms. Gomez the opportunity to directly apply new forms of communication and mobile technology from the classroom to CSC Capital’s boardroom. The firm is excited and looking forward to Ms.Gomez’s development of this new venture.

Ms. Gomez while achieving professionally and academically more than most early twenty-something’s could imagine she has on the other hand pursued an alter-ego occupation of modeling. Beginning as a teenager when she was first coached and hired by an Portland, Oregon agency as a fashion model to today where she occasionally conducts promotional events for the largest Northwest product promotions agency, she enjoys the social interaction with vendors and customers. In fact, she claims her childhood interests always seemed to sway between wildlife trainer, particularly with dolphins, and fashion designer and model. How she became a Space Operations Officer in the U.S. Air Force, is anybody’s guess!

However, there is no guessing her talents in financial advisory introductions as the past three years have proven. Ms. Gomez’s other outside interests are horses, fishing, staying in shape, gourmet cooking, shooting guns, and fast sports cars. In particular a brand new Dodge Challenger “muscle car” which she plans on driving to Vandenberg Air Force Base for her first day of Space Operations School. She claims to have watched the 1983 movie “The Right Stuff” more than once.
